| RF/Microwave Hybrid Engineer |
Design and develop amplifiers and circuits by performing creative RF/Microwave engineering work related to 1-20
GHz high power amplifier designs of 5 to 100+ watts using chip and wire techniques.
Position requires customer liaison, evaluation of requirements, conceptual design, functional flow down/functional
definition, design finalization and initial production support.
Member of a design team consisting of electrical, mechanical engineers and support staff activity for aspects of
design, verification and qualification.
Perform analytical engineering circuit design work directed toward the development of new products or design
techniques
Uses complex simulation tools to model circuit performance
Prepares engineering design releases to facilitate the design and manufacture of circuits
Directs and performs the needed testing to ensure proper circuit operation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidate has experience with the development of chip and wire circuits used in high power communication,
pulsed or radar systems.
10+ years of hybrid design experience
Familiar with RF/Microwave high power (5+ watts) chip and wire design techniques
Experienced in die attach, wire bonding, ribbon bonding
Familiar with GaN and GaAs transistors and die.
Working knowledge of MIL-STD-883 assembly techniques
Working knowledge of clean room processes.
Working knowledge of simulation tools such as ADS
EDUCATION:
BSEE minimum, MSEE preferred
US citizen or permanent resident a must
